This home in Historic Central Avenue needed a modern refresh.

While our clients loved the location on Central Avenue, the interior needed updating to give the home a more modern feel and color scheme. The first floor was completely refreshed including completely gutting the kitchen and master bathroom, installing new wood flooring throughout, and adding new wall paneling at the grand front entrance. The upstairs saw updated bathrooms along with new flooring in the bedrooms. In addition, the 1,000 square foot guest house was also completely renovated with a new kitchen, bedroom, bathroom, and living area.

The kitchen was completely redone with all new cabinetry, island, bar area, pantry, and seating area. The combination of white cabinetry, marble backsplash, brass fixtures, and light wood flooring gives the space a light, airy, and modern feel. The black countertops and custom range hood provide a touch of contrast.

luxury master bathroom

The original master bathroom was full of mirrors, had an awkward layout, and was completely dated. AFT Construction completely gutted the master bathroom to start fresh with a brand new and more efficient layout. AFT Construction installed white cabinetry, marble flooring, marble shower, and a luxury stand-alone bathtub to give our clients a more spa-like feel they wanted to achieve.

Brand New Bathrooms for All

In addition to the master bath, AFT Construction updated four upstairs bathrooms with new countertops, tile flooring, tile showers, and new plumbing and light fixtures. One of the boy’s bathroom features a “floating” vanity with under-cabinet LED lighting.

Guest House

Like the main house, AFT Construction completed gutted the 1,000 square foot guest house. The brand-new kitchen features navy cabinets with light quartz countertops, white subway tile backsplash, and floating shelves. The existing bathroom received a badly needed update and new hardwood flooring was installed throughout. We also created an additional bathroom from a previous closet space, with all new flooring and fixtures.
