New Product Partnership - Elkay

Here at AFT Construction, we are always looking for new, innovative products for our clients. We look to partner with companies who are introducing new, innovative products to the market. One of our most recent partnerships has been with Elkay – a family-owned company with a 100-year history of product innovation and ingenuity. This post is in partnership with Elkay, but all content, ideas, and opinions are our own.

Recently, we have been fortunate to have incorporated several Elkay products into our AFT Construction projects, including our current custom home builds in Scottsdale. Two products that we are especially excited about are the Elkay quartz classic sinks and the Elkay ezH2O Liv built-in water filtration system.

Much like quartz countertops, the Elkay quartz classic sink provides a number of features and benefits that help make them a superior choice. The sink material offers a natural resistance to chipping, scratches, and high heat and its smooth, nonporous surface makes it easy to clean, stain-resistant, and prevents the spread of bacteria. Additionally, quartz is naturally sound deadening, meaning you get many of the durability benefits of a stainless-steel sink without the added noise. What makes the quartz classic sinks even more desirable is the selection of colors that are available – there is a color to fit with any design.

The second product we have been extremely excited about and have received rave reviews from clients is the Elkay ezH2O Liv. While we’ll feature photos of this product in our next blog post, the ezH2O Liv is the first-ever built-in filtered water dispenser designed for in-home use. What makes this water filtration so special is that it fits perfectly between two standard studs and can be installed flush into any wall that has water and electrical nearby, which means installation is not limited to the kitchen. The ezH2O Liv uses a NSF-certified filter to reduce lead and other harmful contaminants, is available with or without a chiller, and uses a hands-free, sensor-activated filling with automatic timed shut-off. It comes in an attractive, sleek design and, as an added bonus, it counts the number of disposable water bottles saved.

This knowledge and our ability to establish relationships with the companies that offer innovative products are ways AFT Construction continues to provide value to our clients.
