AFT 3000: A Finer Touch’s Most Popular Instagram Posts of the Past Six Months

If you’ve scrolled through Instagram looking for inspiring architecture and luxurious designs, you may have come across some posts by aft_construction. Since 2015, Brad has been posting on the AFT Instagram keeping us posted on the continuous growth and improvement of A Finer Touch Construction. Over the years, you can witness the advancement in A Finer Touch’s presentation of luxurious, quality builds from its professional and proficient build team. Let’s look back on some of Brad’s most popular posts over the past six months.

Starting off this list is a post that reached virality we couldn’t have ever expected. Brad posted this short clip showing off the bar passthrough at our project, Arcadia Lights, and it received a whopping 105,087 likes. We are incredibly proud of what Pella was able to achieve with this window and door connection. Summit Stone complimented this passthrough greatly with the beautiful waterfalls on the interior and exterior. Without the skill of our trades, we wouldn’t be able to make dreams come true for our clients, and we greatly appreciate the craftsmanship they put on display.

We’re very proud of the innovations we’ve been able to make in the industry, and we’re happy this idea got so many eyes and 23,904 likes. Our use of QR codes helps to make the job easier for trades to capture the details our architects and designers want to see made a reality. Having digital plans allows our site supers to update plans on a whim without needing to reprint and resend documents to trades. Especially working in custom luxury home construction, there are plenty of changes and intricate details being implemented, and having online files makes communication and collaboration between AFT and trades a breeze. Progress at Citrus Point is looking fantastic!

Next up on the list, is some insane drone footage by @BrianWoodward_FPV of one of our favorite projects, Modern Sunset. This gorgeous video features views of the negative edge pool reflecting the desert sky as well as the near seamless transitions between the primary bedroom’s sliding doors and the backyard. What seems to have wowed the crowd the most, however, was the five foot wide, twelve foot high entry door. Door Works and Premier Paradise really outdid themselves here!

In this next post, we have Cannon Carson presenting project Timeless Beauty’s dutch door system. The client and designer, Lisa Lee Hickman, came up with the design to have the clear glass panels above and below. This detail creates a clean division between the laundry area and the pets of the family. The clear glass ensures pets don’t feel to isolated, while making sure that our furry friends don’t shed in near the laundry. Same goes for any adventurous or curious toddlers that don’t belong.

Breaking through to 5,505 likes, we have more drone footage from Jesse Fitton showcasing Project Blow Your Mind’s progress. Jesse got great coverage of the trampoline barn, wiffle ball field, and Landscape Resource’s work tying it all together!

Capping off 2023, Brad presented this stunning kitchen design from our project, Saguaro Grove. The soft blend of whites and tans creates an unmatched sense of desert comfort. The real crowd pleaser, according to the comments, was the suspension lamps!

Continuing with more from the kitchen at Saguaro Grove, we get a short walk around the gorgeous double islands. One island serving as a perfect work station, with horizontal outlets on each side, and the other island, providing a large serving area with a nice touch from the quartz waterfalls.

While Brad hosted the podcast live at the International Builder Show in Las Vegas with Mark LaLiberte, he treated us to a flashback of one of our most ambitious projects, Net-Zero Desert Comfort. The influence this project has had on the identity of A Finer Touch is unmatched and a perfect example of how we strive to construct to the highest quality and optimize our work and client’s homes through technological innovation.

Pushing past 2,000 likes, our Exeter Estate project is featured via some more drone footage, this time coming from our photographer, Jesse Fitton. At 15,802 square feet of air conditioned space and 26,688 square feet overall, we picked up this behemoth of a project up and got Ben Tarwater on the site to give it a tune-up to AFT standards. In the video, we can see the unmatched level of site cleanliness AFT always aspires to, along with dust control being maintained.

With the start of construction for one of the newest AFT homes, we have our project announcement for the Opulent Oasis project in Silverleaf, Scottsdale. PHX Architecture created this beautiful rendering to communicate to the clients, the designers, and our building team exactly what their vision is. This project’s design is certain to lead to some incredible posts in the future!
