PROJECT:
Whitewing Refresh
Our clients were not happy with their existing home’s design and style. They wanted a much brighter and refreshing space. Their main goal was to repaint the entire home, add wood flooring, wall trim, backsplashes, countertops, lighting, plumbing, and cabinet hardware to enhance and upgrade the look and feel of the home. To compliment these changes, our clients updated three bathrooms, the kitchen, laundry and entire living area to create a continuously “fresh” feel throughout the home.
HIGHLIGHTS
Kitchen – AFT updated the existing kitchen cabinetry with a fresh coat of paint, new countertops, and new satin brass hardware to coordinate with the satin brass plumbing and light fixtures. These simple changes made a big impact to the look of the kitchen, but the real wow factor comes from the marbled herringbone patterned ceiling height backsplash.
Laundry Room – AFT updated the cabinets with a fresh coat of paint and new cabinet hardware to match the new plumbing fixtures for the laundry sink. New countertops were installed. These changes were highlighted with ceiling height chevron tile backsplash for both cabinet walls and a herringbone patterned tile floor.
Bathrooms – AFT updated three of the home’s bathrooms with new countertops, tile flooring, tile showers, and new fixtures. The boy’s bathroom was updated with shiplap walls, chrome fixtures, and “silver polish” painted cabinets to maintain a more masculine feel. Meanwhile, the two girl’s bathrooms used patterned tile on the floor and shower/vanity walls to add a hint of femininity.
RESULTS
AFT was able to make cosmetic changes that made a significant impact. The end product resulted in the brighter, updated look they were hoping for.
