PROJECT:
Whitewing Refresh 2
Here at AFT, we pride ourselves on forming relationships with our clients that last beyond the completion of the project. Back in early 2019, we had completed a remodel for our clients that included their kitchen, laundry room, living area, and three bathrooms. A year later, our clients asked us to return and renovate their master bedroom, master bathroom, and pool bath to refresh those areas and carryover the look and feel of the previously renovated areas.
HIGHLIGHTS
Master Bedroom – AFT updated the master bedroom by installing new wood flooring to match the other renovated areas of the home. Wainscoting with chair rail was installed behind bed and TV wall along with new 8” baseboard. The dual-sided fireplace shared with the master bathroom was trimmed out with crown moulding.
Master Bathroom – The master bathroom received a complete refresh from top to bottom. The shower entry and niche were changed to full arches. It received a glass door, all new marble tile, brass fixtures, and a new bench. The bathroom received a new mosaic tile floor and floor to ceiling marble tile. New quartz countertops, brass fixtures, mirrors, and a seeded glass window added the finishing touches to give the master bathroom a spa-like feel.
Pool Bath – AFT renovated the pool bath including new tile flooring, tile shower walls with niche, quartz countertops, brass fixtures, and vertical shiplap on two of the bathroom walls.
Courtyard Fireplace and Awnings – To cap off the transition, the outdoor fireplace stone was whitewashed and a new quartz hearth added. Finally, two custom steel awnings were hung above exterior doors.
RESULTS
AFT was able to seamlessly mesh this latest remodel with the previous year’s refresh to give the client the updated look and feel they were looking for.
