PROJECT:
Mid-century Modern Rancher
Built in 1997, this residence is a 2,500 single family ranch style home that sits on over 1 acre. It was very outdated with a poor floor plan and AFT was asked to give ideas for a complete renovation to open up the home and transform it into a warm, bright, inviting space.
HIGHLIGHTS
Structure – To open up the floor plan, AFT took great measures in the kitchen, great room and entry by removing walls and creating a large, functional space.
Windows & Doors – AFT worked with the owners to select new windows and doors that would allow an updated product, but yet still achieve timeless character to the home.
Age – AFT ran into several issues including the plumbing and electrical in the home. They came up with a plan to address the issues within budget while maintaining the quality of the project.
RESULTS
AFT worked with the homeowner and collaborated on the vision, approach and implementation of this mid-century modern home. The result is an eclectic and colorful residence that embraces the architecture and is a classic design for generations to come.
