PROJECT:
Chandler Luxury Remodel
Originally built in the early 2000s, the home consisted of the common finishes of that era: brown/tan finishes and travertine floors. The owners were looking to update the look of their home to something more light, fresh, and modern. AFT completed a large renovation that focused on the kitchen and master bath, including new cabinets, countertops, flooring, and doors.
HIGHLIGHTS
Master Bath – As the saying goes…out with the old, in the new. Gone are the design elements commonly found in the late 90s, early 2000s. AFT replaced the glass block shower, built-in, platform tub surround, and curved ceilings have been replaced with a standalone tub, clear glass panel enclosed shower, and a squared-off ceiling that provides modern, clean lines.
Let There Be Light – Continuing on the theme of out with the old, the darker finishes of brown cabinets, tan/brown granite countertops and backsplash, and travertine floors were replaced with white quartz countertops, white upper kitchen cabinets, and marble tile in the bathroom and kitchen backsplash.
A Touch of Warmth – The selection of wood grain tile flooring in a medium brown and the addition of wooden doors at the master bath and office adds a touch of warmth. Pairing dark cabinets at the master bath vanity and lower kitchen cabinets provides great contrast with the white finishes.
RESULTS
The newly remodeled kitchen, master bath, and office give this Chandler home a bright, airy feel and the refreshed, contemporary look the owners sought to achieve.
