Trevor Williams – Superintendent

Continuing our Meet the AFT Team series, our next team member is one of our newest here at AFT Construction, Trevor Williams. Trevor is a superintendent and spends most of his time out in the field managing our trades on-site.

In addition to working with AFT Construction, Trevor is also completing his degree in construction management at Arizona State University.

What does your role entail?

Scheduling and managing the subcontractors on the job. Make sure the project gets completed on time and on budget.

Past Experience/Background:

Assistant superintendent for Wood Building and Development (custom homes). Superintendent for Clean Choice Services (renovations)

What do you enjoy about working in the construction industry?

Working with my hands, scheduling and managing people to complete the overall goal.

What type of construction is your favorite?

Custom residential

What do you enjoy about working for AFT Construction?

I love all that all of my co-workers/bosses have lots of experience so they can teach me to be the best I can.

What was your first job?

Pizza dough tosser at Little Caesar’s.

Seattle, WA

What advice would you give to someone who is considering a home remodel or building a new home?

From the start, have a good idea of what you want. The more decisions that are made at the start make for a smoother process all the way through for everyone.

Best advice you were ever given?

Don’t give up what you want most for what you want at the moment.

Do you have any hidden talents?

Play the guitar and sing.
