Here's more about Paul:

Name: Paul Eric Lundgren

Company Position: Project Field Manager

What does your role entail? Orchestrating the build of custom homes, building relationships with trades, paying attention to details, finding solutions for issues that arise, sharing the build experience on social media, and helping build the greatest company in The Valley.

Past Experience/Background: I was born into the construction industry. I grew up working for my dad whom was a painting contractor that turned into a small general contracting company. Besides working for myself, the only other job I’ve had was working for my dad. I eventually took over my dad’s business (he worked for me) in southern California. I moved to Colorado 15 years ago to start over. I built a remodel company by word of mouth, branding and being willing to diversify. The year and a half leading up to joining the AFT team I built a trim and cabinet company with a partner. You ask “why did you leave it, why did you leave Colorado?!” Well…I was evaluating my life and where I was at. I’m turning 50 this year, I want to be somewhere where I can grow older. I didn’t want to be in the snowy and icy winters anymore. If you’ve ever slipped and fell on a sheet of ice you know what I’m talking about. I’ve been watching Brad and the AFT brand over the past 3 years. There was something that drew me in, I shared the same passion for quality, for craftsmanship and building a brand that has the possibility of out living me. So…here I am, I want to help build a brand that will stand the test of time, I’m here for the long haul, I am pumped to be a small part of the AFT team! LETS DO THIS!

What do you enjoy about working in the construction industry? I love it all, I enjoy details and finding solutions for issues that come from building a custom product.

What type of construction is your favorite? Finish, I like making things pretty, I like making things look good and work together. At the moment I’m fluent in carpentry, cabinets, painting, wall coverings, wood finishing, tile, framing, etc… But, the entire process has become so fun to me.

What do you enjoy about working for AFT Construction? The team! Without a strong team that works well together, we’ve got nothing but a logo.

What was your first job? See above, #4

Where were you born? Southern California, born, raised and grew there the first 35 years of my life.

What advice would you give to someone who is considering a home remodel or building a new home? Be ready to make a lot of decisions, and then be ready to make more! There is a reason God created designers, some of us don’t have it in us!

Do you have any hidden talents? Not hidden, you just might not know. I have an AA in Graphic Design. I love marketing and design, plus…I’ve done my share of faux finishes.
