Meet the AFT Team - Cannon Carson

Here at AFT Construction, we have been fortunate to continue growing and adding talented team members. We are excited to welcome Cannon Carson to the team. Cannon is currently a student at Arizona State University studying construction management. His father is a local architect and he has a great understanding of the construction process and is incredibly talented at reading plans.

Company Position: Assistant Superintendent
What does your role entail? Help with scheduling and supervising all activities that occur on the job-site, and ensuring that all construction is completed in a precise and timely manner.
Past Experience/Background: Worked a year as a plumber's assistant, installed fire sprinklers, and worked a year and a half as a draftsman for Cosan Studio.
What do you enjoy about working in the construction industry? I love watching a building go from concept to reality.
What type of construction is your favorite? Custom residential construction
What do you enjoy about working for AFT Construction? One of my favorite things about working with AFT Construction is the team, everyone is super friendly and always ready to help. They want to see you succeed.
What was your first job? Installing fire sprinklers with Farnsworth Fire Protection
Where were you born? Mesa, Arizona
What advice would you give to someone who is considering a home remodel or building a new home? You get what you pay for. If you want quality construction and design, you have to pay for it.
Best advice you were ever given? Live your life so that there are never any “what if’s.”
Do you have any hidden talents? I love to draw.
